Happy News!!!!!!
We are getting married!!! Burke proposed last night. We had a great day together yesterday. We took a walk along the Potomac River and watched a beautiful sunset. After we came back to Burke's and he made me a nice dinner and then told me he had a surprise. He gave me a booklet that he had made with all our texts, emails and letters to each other along with photos from our fun times together. The last page read "Burke asks Emily to marry him." He was down on one knee when I read that. I jumped up and said yes, yes yes!!! He gave me a dozen red roses along with a CD mix that he made with some of our favorite songs. We are so happy!!

THE HONEYMOONERS
Alan took me on a Carribbean cruise for our honeymoon. The news was broken by our hotel shuttle driver in Tampa who asked "so you guys going on a cruise...?" At the beginning of our travels on Sunday I found that we were going to Floriday but the rest of the week was still up for guesses. Our five day cruise took us to the ports of Grand Cayman where we took a submarine a 100 feet down and Cozumel Mexico where we took an ATV tour along a beautiful beach and went snorkeling. In Mexico we also ate at a Mexican resturaunt, bartered with shopkeepers (we did talk them down, but we should practice more. I think we could become quite good at the whole bartering thing. Actually we should just take lessons from Grandma Gerratt. I hear she has the talent :) and enjoyed the beauties of Cozumel. We drove to the airport in a blizzard and drove back to Burley in a blizzard making the perfect cruising weather all the more delightful.
